I’m a whole-person somatic and experiential counselor and coach. I specialize in helping sensitive, neuro-spicey, and culturally folks rewire their “I’m broken” narrative and cultivate radical self-sovereignty.
So, here we are, and I’m beyond honored to *sit* across from you.
A human-centered partnership.
When we sit together, you won’t find a blank stare or a "clinical mask." You’ll find a human being who is right there with you. Whether we are navigating the uncertainty of your twenties or tenderly visiting the echoes of childhood neglect, you will see my real expressions and feel my genuine presence. I show up as my whole, authentic self because I want you to feel deeply safe doing the same. We’ll brainstorm, feel, and grow together in a space built on curiosity and true nourishment.
Tending to the whole self.
As a "web-thinker" (hello to my fellow neurospicy souls!), I see the beautiful complexity of your life. Our work often moves beyond just talking; we’ll explore the quiet wisdom of your body and the power of your imagination to find healing that words alone can’t reach.
I believe deeply in the magic that happens when bodies talk. My own somatic journey began long ago on the dance floor and the yoga mat, including twenty years of practice and seven years of teaching. As a lifelong student of movement—from the stillness of Yin and Qigong to the rhythm of Salsa, West African dance, and Hip Hop—I have developed a deep, intuitive relationship with the language of the body. My background also includes a mindful awareness of Western adaptations and appropriations of Indian yoga practices. I use this "movement library" to help you build interoception—the ability to listen to your internal cues—so you can move out of survival mode and back home to your own bodily compass.
I don’t see you in isolation; I see the complex web of identities and structures you move through. My journey through ESL programs, low-income housing, mis-identification as BIPOC, and immigration-related family separation gave me a firsthand view of how both harm and resilience are woven into our social structures. This path that deepened my commitment to racial humility and decolonizing the way we think about mental health. My goal is to help you untangle all the influences by providing care that is deeply culturally responsive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and neuro-affirming. Together, we will move toward a state of true belonging and sovereignty.
From the corporate “web” to personal sovereignty.
My path to this work wasn't linear. Before becoming a counselor, I spent a decade in communications and social media marketing, navigating the high-pressure worlds of Silicon Valley startups, agencies, and large corporations. I know what it’s like to receive that midnight email from a CEO and to feel the crushing tension of modern work culture.
It was my own "quarter-life crisis" that finally led me to my true calling. In that season, I had to do the hard work of rewiring the "I’m broken" narrative that high-pressure environments often instill in us. I learned that my crisis wasn't a failure—it was an invitation to reclaim my own agency. Today, I adore sitting with folks as they harvest the wisdom and strength from their own transitions, moving from a sense of being "lost" or "broken" into a state of personal sovereignty.
The realities of parent/motherhood in sensitive, neurospicy, and multicultural identities.
Beyond my clinical training, I live the daily, beautiful, and often messy reality of a neurospicy, sensitive family. I am mamma to a tenacious toddler, a kindhearted kiddo, and a sweet pup. To be honest: becoming a mamma was really hard for me. Nothing went as expected. With two rainbow NICU babies and a postpartum complex ankle fracture, my perinatal period was a far cry from the "glow" we are often sold.
In those moments of isolation and physical pain, it was easy to feel like my body or my journey was somehow "wrong." But through my own healing, I realized that I wasn't broken; I was being reshaped. I am deeply passionate about being with folks as they navigate their own perinatal transitions, helping them dismantle the "broken" narrative and reconnect with their inherent power through the grief, the joy, and everything in between.
